Kellie martin is an American film, television and stage performer. Her most famous parts include Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy"; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On); and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". She is also known for playing the title role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin began her acting career at the age of was seven years old. Her aunt, who served as the nanny for actor Michael Landon's children, was a big help in landing her an unimportant role in the TV show Father Murphy. Martin began her professional acting career following her graduation from Yale University. This led to her landing substantial roles both in the television and film industries. Martin is, in addition to being an excellent actress and dancer, is also a skilled ballet photographer. Mother of two daughters, she's the Lupus spokesperson and spreads awareness of the disease daily since the loss of her sister at 19 years old.
